Families pay for carers as elderly discharged too soon.

Heart rending article in the Sunday Times about the elderly being forced out of their hospital beds and sent home to release beds. One person sent home in a gown and others sent home with two hours notice.

Looks like the private sector is expected to step in and plug the gap. This is an appalling way to treat our most vulnerable citizens.
